WHAT IS DRUGGED DRIVING?

Drugged driving is operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of illicit and/or legal drugs.

Most of us are familiar with the dangers associated with drunk driving, but many people are not aware of the significant rise in drugged driving or the increasing amount of fatalities caused by drugged drivers.

Any drug (legal or illegal) that affects the central nervous system impairs an individuals motor skills, reaction time, judgment, and more.

 

Driving under the influence of drugs (legal or illegal) puts both the driver and others on the road at risk.
